Terms of Service

Last updated October 22, 2026

The rules for using VideoYo — what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.

00:01 --> This agreement

These terms govern your use of VideoYo, the cloud video service from CASTUS, at app.videoyo.net, watch.videoyo.net, player.videoyo.net, videoyo.net and through the VideoYo APIs and ingest servers. By creating an account or using VideoYo you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the organization you use it for.

If your organization has a separate written agreement with us, that agreement takes precedence where the two differ.

00:02 --> The service

VideoYo stores, transcodes and streams video; generates captions, translations and audio descriptions; runs live streams, recordings and channel pages; and connects to playout servers and, if you choose, to your YouTube channel. Features available to your organization depend on how your account is set up.

00:03 --> Accounts and companies

Accounts belong to a company. The company's owners decide who is a member and what each member may do, and are responsible for the activity of their members. Keep your password and your stream keys secret — anyone with a stream key can send to it or pull from it — and tell us at help@videoyo.net if you think either has been exposed.

You must give accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract.

00:04 --> Your content

You keep all rights to the content you upload or stream and to the captions, translations and descriptions VideoYo generates for it. You give us permission to host, copy, process, transcode, transcribe, translate, describe and deliver that content only as needed to provide the service to you and to the viewers and destinations you choose.

You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload or stream, and for what you make public. You can delete your content at any time.

00:05 --> AI-generated output

Captions, translations and audio descriptions are generated automatically and can contain mistakes. They are provided for you to review and edit before you publish or broadcast them; you are responsible for the final result and for meeting any accessibility or broadcast obligations that apply to you.

00:06 --> Acceptable use

Don't use VideoYo to:

  • upload, stream or distribute anything unlawful, or that infringes someone else's rights;
  • harm, deceive or harass others, or distribute malware;
  • try to get into accounts, data or systems you aren't allowed to, or test, overload or disrupt the service;
  • resell or share access in ways your agreement with us doesn't allow.

We may remove content or suspend access that breaks these rules.

00:07 --> YouTube and other services

VideoYo can restream your live streams to YouTube using the YouTube API Services. If you connect a YouTube channel you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. How VideoYo uses the data it receives from Google is described in our Privacy Policy.

Services we connect to — YouTube, your playout servers, the sites you embed into — are run by others under their own terms; we are not responsible for them.

00:08 --> Credits and billing

Some features are charged to your company's credit balance at the rates shown in the portal or agreed with you, such as audio description, captioning and transcoding. Charges, refunds and any storage or bandwidth limits are as described in the portal or in your agreement with us. If your balance runs out, paid features stop until it is topped up.

00:09 --> Availability and changes

We work to keep VideoYo running and your content safe, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free unless your agreement with us says so. We improve the service continually and may change or retire features; we will give reasonable notice before removing something you rely on.

00:10 --> Suspension and termination

You can stop using VideoYo at any time; email help@videoyo.net to close your account. We may suspend or end access for a breach of these terms or where the law requires it, and will tell you why unless we can't. After an account closes you can ask us for your content for a reasonable period before it is deleted.

00:11 --> Disclaimers

Except as stated in these terms or in your agreement with us, VideoYo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows.

00:12 --> Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability arising from VideoYo is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim arose.

00:13 --> Changes to these terms

We will post any change here and update the date at the top. If a change is material, we will tell account owners by email before it takes effect; continuing to use VideoYo after that means you accept it.

00:14 --> Contact

Questions about these terms go to help@videoyo.net.
